26th Asian Pacific Children's Convention programme

Fukuoka, Japan

12th - 24th July, 2014

The Scouts and Culture Education Division was in receipt of an invitation from the APCC office to send 6 youth/junior ambassadors and a Chaperone leader to participate in the 26th Asian Pacific Children's Convention Programme (APCC) to be held in Fukuoka, Japan from 12 - 24 July, 2014.

Under the Slogan, "We are the Bridge: We connect dreams around the world", the programme embraces the idea of cultural interaction where children can experience differences and similarities, fostering friendship and peace between the participating countries and regions. It is their hope to make the children become global citizens of an OMOIYARI spirit (Respect and Understanding).

The opportunity was provided to Mongar Dzongkhag and the following list of junior ambassadors and an escort teacher (Chaperone) participated in the programme.
