The King's Camp (3rd National Scout Jamboree)

Dedicated to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo's 60th Birth Anniversary
National Scouts Center, Paro
4th – 10th October 2015

 

The National Scout Jamboree is an opportunity for the scouts from different parts of the country to meet, build friendship, understanding and leadership through companionship, education activities and adventure.

 

It is organized every four years for duration of 7 – 10 days.  The Jamboree provides a platform for all scouts to learn and practice Scout methods and principles; and adherence to the Scout Promise and Law.  Above all, it is fun and being happy!

 

The King’s Camp (National Scout Jamboree) was organized towards meeting the challenges of today’s world through scouting with a special focus on the Scout Method.  The program was designed to cover all aspects of personal development-physical, spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual.

 

The King’s Camp dedicated to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo’s 60th Birth Anniversary was held at National Scouts Center, Paro from 4th – 10th October 2015.  More than 2000 scouts and leaders from all Dzongkhags and Thromdes took part in the Jamboree.

 

 

 

A glimpse of the King's Camp
